Welcome to Portia's Secret Garden in USA-Pixnet

The beginning of November is a busy but musical week.
First, on 11/2 Men's cooking competition held by international church of San Antonio in Ken's Club house.
It was fun, and met a lot of Alisa's friends from church.



And our Cook- Victor, won the first prize for En tree.



next day, 11/03, I went with school's acculturation class to visit Texas Capital- Austin.
We took 2 big Vans, totally 32 people. Although, there were some issues before we got on road, it was a really nice trip.
First stop was The capital complex - more than 190 years old, located on the Capital hill.

Then we went to Indian Powwow Dance Competition to understand the history and custom for traditional Indian culture.



We went to check out the lake Austin. it was beautiful,and hope i can live the place like that.



The trip was ended to watch Sunset on Oasis restaurant by Lake Travis. Dr. Grey bought us drink and nachos.
He is a nice guy. We were so full. By the time we got home, it was 8:30pm.



11/5 night, I enjoy the UIW community orchestra concert. I so enjoyed the music. It helped to reduced all the tired from reading all day.

11/9 Me, Jenny, and Sophie went to enjoy the Clean House Drama by Sarah Ruhl. it was pretty funny.
The story is about a haughty, successful doctor’s tidy life suddenly becomes messy, both literally and figuratively.
also the play offer transcendence into forgiveness and an understanding of the beauty of imperfection.
A funny, expansive, and poignant play about tidy lives, messy loves, and the power of a really good joke


It is a really nice weekend, right?
