It is weekend again.
This is the last weekend before I began to work, so I decide to visit Bandera county.
After saying Happy father's day to my family, I researched a lot of information about Bandera. There is a Bandera fall and city park is looking beautiful.. mm, sounds good to me.. Let's go!

Actually, Bandera is around 45 miles west from San Antonio. The best way to go just take 16 directly take you to Bendera. I got to say, highway 16 inside San Antonio is a little bit traffic, but after 1604., it is getting better. It is a beautiful scenic drive within hill country... A lot of cedar trees..

This past Tuesdays, I wanted to go to San Marco Kipling store to exchange my things, but unfortunately, there were no sale.
Therefore, I did not spend so much time over there, instead, I decided to cruise around New Braunfels.

New Braunfels is 25 miles from San Antonio, which you can see it from its name, a city related to German heritage.
There are some historical downtown areas to let visitors walk around to appreciate the ancient architectural heritage,

About the San Antonio River walk extension, last time, I just walked from Pearl Brewery to San Antonio Muse sum of Art
This time, Richard, Jenny and I were going further for our Sat. hiking from Pearl Brewery to Brooklyn Ave.
There are some new feature, such as the Lock & Dam

It is an extreme experience to first visit such a store, Academy Sports + Outdoors.
I have known this store since I have been in San Antonio, but because I have never been a really sports fan, I had no any interest to shop in such a store.

I have been lazy in Taiwan for 2 months. Wow!
eating a lot, enjoy the family time and meeting old friends..
Quite miss the good time in Taiwan.

While back to San Antonio, the most unbearable thing is the heat.

為了怕搶不到好一點的位子，我們(JEnny, Gary, Samuel &me)早早不到11：30,就從我家走路去看
人是真的超多，超擠，旁邊的停車位子，本來免費，都開始收錢從$5-$15，搶錢喔！
11:50 就先有所謂的Vanguard看，12:45pm才是正式的，超過上百隊伍，包括馬車carriage，軍樂隊 band，花車 float，啦啦隊squad，表演 amusement,
氣球 balloon，古董車antiquie car，還有清馬糞的隊 super scooper！很好玩
3:00多才完，站的腿很累，很多人都自備椅子去搶位子，不過因為天氣陰陰的，太陽不大也不熱，所以是看遊行的好天氣！

聖安東尼也有一個很具特色的嘉年華會；每年四月為期長達十天的嘉年華會 Fiesta San Antonio。最早是在西元 1891 年，為了紀念德州從墨西哥獨立的阿勒摩戰役 (Alamo) 和聖加勝多戰役 (San Jacinto) ，一個女子團體在阿勒摩教會 (Alamo) 前舉行花車遊行。這些女士把馬拉的拖板車裝飾了許多花朵，在阿勒摩教會前遊行並互灑花朵，這個每年一次的 Battle Of Flower 遊行，慢慢發展成了到現在多采多姿的 Fiesta San Antonio。
聖安東尼的嘉年華會，每年不斷地擴大也吸引了許多觀光客前來共襄盛舉，除了三個最主要的遊行：白天在 Downton 街道舉行的 Battle OF Flower 遊行，和夜晚舉行 Fiesta Night 遊行，還有一個很有特色的遊行，就是在聖安東尼最有名的 River Walk 所舉行的 King's River 遊行，是比較少見的花船遊行。聖安東尼的嘉年華會也會選出國王、皇后和其他公主、公爵等等，他們會穿著非常華麗的彷古花樣禮服遊行，這些禮服都是許多義工在活動之前以手工縫製。除了大型的遊行之外，在十天的嘉年華會中，還有一系列的 NIOSA (Nights in Old San Antonio) 夜晚活動，有許多各地美食品嘗、現場音樂表演等等，這些活動也是吸引許多居民和觀光客的重頭戲之一。另外也有許多靜態的歷史展覽、煙火秀、街頭舞會，活動多到令許多喜歡湊熱鬧的人有分身乏術之感哦！聖安東尼的墨裔移民佔人口很大部份，所以在最具墨西哥風味的 Market Square 歷史區，也有許多很具墨西哥風味的慶祝活動。

終於不用日復一日拚命的讀書趕作業，雖然還是很多要做！
不過在這附近玩了一些，本想要出去遠一點玩得，不過，好像沒人有興趣！

11/7, 第一次看現場的NBA ，還蠻興奮的，雖然坐在 up to the nose bleeding (很高的意思）
其實我們是坐在做後一排，所以阿，真的是空氣稀薄喔
AT＆T這球場約容納一萬多球迷，算小的NBA球場，不過看球員活動是看得很清楚的
